Artsy Names offers unique, personalized gifts - tees, duffel bags, water bottles, pencil cases, etc. The "Nanimals" are made from the letters of your child's name - soooo cute! A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of photographing LeeAnne & Erik's wedding. The day began with getting ready at The Langham Hotel in Boston.

Not wanting to see each other before the ceremony, we took the guys and the girls separately for a few photos at Post Office Square.

Next it was on to the ceremony at St. Joseph Parish in Medford; the same church where Erik's parents were married.

Then we all headed back to The Langham for a great reception and some photos at BOND.

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of photograhing Jackie & Phil's wedding at the lovely Butternut Farm Golf Club in Stow MA. The two were married by a judge before Phil's deployment last year, but knew in their hearts it wasn't official until celebrated with family & friends. And celebrate they did!

Even with a little light rain (for good luck) during the ceremony, it was a beautiful day.

Ginger & Jonathan chose to say "I do" with an intimate wedding with 40 of their closest family members. After the ceremony, the celebration continued with dinner and some family fun including "The Newlywed Game".

I was invited to photograph Sera's "Dr. Seuss" themed baby shower which was held at the beautifully rustic Gibbet Hill Grill in Groton MA.

I loved these whimsical centerpieces made by Sera's sister paired with a classic Dr. Seuss book & stuffed character. Fun favors, too!

We were able to squeeze in some photos of the parents-to-be before the guests arrived. Congratulations Sera & Jim - what a great family Michael is being born into!

We were contacted by the F family who wanted to get some photos of their kids while everyone was home for Thanksgiving. Already very busy that weekend, the only time we could fit in another shoot was Thanksgiving morning. So, as the turkey was going into the oven, David headed out the door to capture some images of these siblings for their mom. We had the pleasure of photographing Caitlin & Steve's wedding a couple of weeks ago in Boston. Caitlin was a beautiful bride and it was a fun day from start to finish with this sweet couple and their families & friends.

Caitlin & Steve said "I do" at St. Columbkille Parish in Brighton, then it was on to the Public Garden for some photo time. The wedding party did a great job braving the wind and chill that day!

The final stop was the Marriott Courtyard Boston in the heart of the theater district where everyone danced the night away with the band Rare Form. Congratulations and thank you again Caitlin & Steve!!

We had a wonderful time photographing Lauren & Dan's wedding on June 5th. We started the day at the Wood's Hole Inn.

Then it was on to the Falmouth Yacht Club for the wedding & reception.

The weather was a bit threatening, but the raindrops held off all day allowing this easy going bride to get married barefoot on the beach.

We had the honor of photographing Erin & Chris's wedding on October 24th. It was a beautiful fall day and this couple wasn't going to let a few raindrops get them down. The ceremony was held at Boston College's Trinity Chapel followed by a reception at the fabulous Boston Harbor Hotel.

Boston College offered some beautiful spots for photos, including the steps where Erin & Chris first met. (so sweet!)

We had the pleasure of photographing S & B's wedding a couple of weeks ago. The couple was married at Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Cambridge, MA with a reception following at the Hellenic Cultural Center in Watertown.

This little guy ran up to snap a picture of his own during the vows. Everyone had a good laugh and he got a thumbs up from the groom.

The couple was ushered into the reception by famiy and friends to a traditional Eritrean grand entrance march.

It was a great night filled with laughter and love. Congratulations again S & B!

Wow, it's hard to beieve it's Labor Day weekend already. August was a busy month for us and once again I have fallen behind on blogging. Here's some more from a shoot with the G siblings we did a few weeks back at a lake where the family loves to spend their summer days.

The shoot ended with the kids splashing in the water - fun! Next a shoot with the C sisters...

And somehow we managed to squeeze in a roadtrip to Michigan to spend time with family and enjoyed some much needed rest and relaxation on the shores of Lake Michigan. aahhh.

On July 10th, we ventured down to New Jersey for Deena & Peter's wedding. The event took place at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City. What a lovely location overlooking the Manhattan skyline.

Their yummy cake was from Carlo's Bake Shop - the bakery featured on TLC's hit show Cake Boss. (I love that show!) Young and old had a great time dancing the night away. Congratulations Deena & Peter!

We had a fabulous time photographing Karen & Peter's wedding on June 2oth. Karen was a stunning bride, and hair & makeup designer Luiz Filho kept her looking flawless all night.

The couple said "I do" at St. Ignatius Parish and then it was on to a grand reception at the Boston Public Library. The beautiful architecture of this building mixed with the fabulous work of florist William Mizuta and the team from The Catered Affair made for an absolutely exquisite evening.

The band Eye 2 Eye was great and kept everyone dancing past midnight. It was such a pleasure to be with Karen & Peter and their families on their big day!

Amy and Brad had a beautiful day for their wedding on June 13th! We started in Falmouth at Amy's family home and nearby beach for some photos and then it was on to Willowbend Country Club in Mashpee for the wedding.

The couple stole away for a few minutes after the ceremony, allowing them for a little time alone and giving us another chance to capture some great images.

The band Night Shift was awesome and kept the guests dancing all night; including Amy's Grandma who has having a great time. (How cute is she?!) Once again we had a great time. Thanks & congratulations Amy & Brad!

That's exactly what we had last week with Marissa and Matt at the Castle Hill Lighthouse in Newport. We enjoyed a peaceful evening watching sailboats while waiting for the sun to set and capturing some great images. Then we all went for icecream. Ahh...bliss.

We had a blast doing Erin & Chris's engagement shoot last weekend. They live in LA but consider Boston "home" and wanted the skyline as the backdrop for their shoot, so we took them to Piers Park in East Boston. It was our first time meeting them, but they were so comfortable in front of our cameras, we felt like we were photographing old friends. Thanks again guys and we'll see you in October!

Last week, Sayda Betsold, the owner of The Salon at 142 in Westford MA, invited us over to shoot some new images for her website. The Salon at 142 offers hair care, skin care & waxing along with hair and make up services for weddings and other special events. We've had the pleasure of working alongside Sayda at weddings and she is fabulous!

For the shoot we started in the salon, then venutred outside, with salon chair in tow, to get something a little more funky. Despite being swarmed by may flies, the shoot went great. ;-) Thanks girls!

Angela & Gary - Wedding - Wentworth by the Sea Hotel

What a way to kick off wedding season! Angela and Gary were married on April 18th at the Newcastle Congregational Church with a reception following at the fabulous Wentworth by the Sea Hotel. It was a great day with just a few raindrops for good luck and we had a wonderful time with Angela, Gary and their families.

As we were about to leave the park, we came across this classic tandem bike whoose owners were more than happy to let the newlyweds climb aboard. What luck - it matched her shoes perfectly!

This was their cake - a replica of Gary's beloved dog Maverick - the only family member who wasn't able to attend the wedding due to old age...and four legs. Jacques Fine European Pastries did a phenominal job with this masterpiece and as you can imagine it added a fun element to the reception.

Our Reps will receive a free Senior Session, yearbook photo and web sized images to show off on Facebook or My Space. Our Reps will then receive a $25 Credit towards Prints and Products for every friend that books their Senior Session with us. How cool is that?

Angela & Gary - Destination - Naples, FL

When Gary contacted us in regards to meeting him and Angela in Naples, Florida for their engagement shoot, we were happy to oblige. Not only did it mean escaping winter in New England for a couple of days, but the whole thing was going to be a surprise for Angela. How fun!! The plan was for us to bump into each other while having dinner the first night we were there. She was SO surprised! We did the shoot the next day; we found a great spot downtown that featured some beautiful architecture and then headed to the beach and Naples Pier for the sunset.

Angela's daughter was along on the trip also. We grabbed some shots of her as well as some of the all of them together. We had a great time with the three of them and are looking forward to seeing them again at the wedding next month. Thanks again for having us!

Last weekend we met up with Laura & Sean in Boston for their engagement shoot along the waterfront; the exact spot where Sean proposed not too long ago. The rain held off for us and the sun actually peeked through the clouds a few times giving us a really cool sky. BOOby Bash - Cancer Fundraiser

After a battle with breast cancer, Lisa Stylos wanted to give back to those who had helped her. She organized the First Annual BOOby Bash - a Halloween themed fundraiser to raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Lowell General Hospital. There were raffles and a silent auction for items donated by local businesses. A variety of characters came out and helped raise over $6000. Having lost my own mother to breast cancer, I was happy to volunteer to shoot for a cause so close to my heart. Here's to you Lisa for throwing a great party!

Stoneblossom Floral did a spectacular job with the flowers and decor and the band Hipsocket kept everyone dancing until midnight.
